Sam was playing in his backyard when he found a tiny, round object in the grass. It was a baby moon! Its surface shimmered softly, but it wasn't glowing bright. Sam knew he had to help the baby moon find its shine. But how?
Sam decided to show the baby moon the stars every night. He thought it might help the moon learn how to glow. But on the first night, the sky was cloudy, and they couldn't see any stars.
The next night, Sam tried again, but it started to rain. The baby moon got wet and looked sad. Sam felt frustrated because he wanted to help, but nothing was working.
Sam tried one more time, but the wind blew the baby moon out of his hands. He caught it just in time, but he felt like giving up. He sat on the grass, holding the baby moon and feeling very sad.
- What can we do? Sam asked the baby moon. Suddenly, his grandpa came outside. - You need to show it the stars from inside the house, Grandpa said. - But how? Sam asked. - Through the window, Grandpa replied with a wink.
Sam and Grandpa brought the baby moon inside and showed it the stars through the window. Slowly, the baby moon began to glow brighter and brighter. One night, it grew a shimmering tail and became a comet, ready for its journey across the sky.
