Tommy and the Airplane Adventure
Tommy loves his shiny airplane but ends up trading it for different toys with friends. However, when his parents ask what happened to the airplane, he says he ate it! Tommy learns the importance of honesty through a series of fun trades and a little white lie.
One sunny morning, Tommy played with his new shiny airplane. He zoomed it through the air, imagining it flying high in the sky. But Tommy wanted more toys. He wanted a whole collection! How could he get more toys? Tommy had an idea: he could trade his airplane!
Tommy saw Jake with a cool robot. Tommy wanted that robot so much! He ran over to Jake. - Can we trade? Tommy asked, holding out his airplane. Jake thought for a moment and agreed. Tommy was so excited to have the robot!
Tommy soon got bored with the robot. He saw Lily with a speedy race car. - Hey, Lily! Want to trade? Tommy asked. Lily agreed happily. Now Tommy had a race car! But after a while, the race car wasn't exciting anymore.
Tommy noticed Max with a big toy truck. - Can I have your truck if I give you my race car? Tommy asked. Max nodded. Tommy was thrilled! But soon, even the big truck didn't make him happy.
Then Tommy saw Sam with a cake. It looked yummy! - I'll trade my truck for your cake! Tommy offered quickly. Sam agreed, and Tommy got the cake. But when he got home, Tommy's parents asked about his airplane.
Tommy giggled and said, - I ate it! His parents looked confused. - You ate your airplane? they asked. Tommy nodded, trying to be funny. But inside, he knew he should have told the truth. He felt a little bad about his joke.
Tommy thought about his trades. He remembered how much he loved his airplane. - It's not funny to say I ate it, Tommy thought. He decided to tell his parents the truth. It was time to be honest.
Tommy told his parents about the trades. - I'm sorry for saying I ate the airplane, Tommy said. His parents smiled and hugged him. Tommy learned that honesty is the best policy. He felt much better telling the truth.
