In the breathtaking Alps, a young girl named Nettles must find a way to tame the fearsome dragon, Sheepstealer, to save her village. With courage and kindness, Nettles faces numerous challenges, but will her bravery be enough to change the dragon's heart?
Once upon a time, in a small village nestled in the Alps, lived a brave girl named Nettles. The villagers were terrified of a wild dragon named Sheepstealer who lived in the mountains. Sheepstealer would swoop down and steal sheep, leaving the villagers without food. One day, the village elder called a meeting. He said, - We must find a way to stop Sheepstealer, or we will starve.
Nettles decided she would be the one to stop Sheepstealer. She gathered her courage and climbed up the mountain where the dragon lived. But the path was rocky and steep, and she stumbled many times. When she finally reached the dragon's cave, she saw Sheepstealer's giant shadow. - Who dares to come here? rumbled Sheepstealer.
Nettles spoke bravely, - I am Nettles, and I want to talk to you. Sheepstealer roared, and flames shot from his mouth. - Leave before I roast you! he bellowed. But Nettles stood her ground. - I believe we can be friends, she said quietly. Sheepstealer laughed, shaking the cave.
Nettles visited Sheepstealer every day, but the dragon remained fierce. The villagers grew impatient. - You're wasting your time, they told her. Nettles felt disheartened, but she refused to give up. She had to find a way to show Sheepstealer that humans could be kind. One night, she sat by her window, feeling hopeless.
The next day, Nettles had an idea. She gathered all the sheep she could find and took them to Sheepstealer's cave. - These are for you, she said, bowing her head. Sheepstealer sniffed the sheep and looked at Nettles curiously. For the first time, he didn't roar. - Why are you doing this? he asked. - Because I believe even dragons can be friends, Nettles replied.
