Suddenly, Liam remembered he left his favorite flashlight in the tent. He wanted to get it, but the forest seemed too scary to walk through alone. His friend, Maya, noticed his worried face. - What's wrong, Liam? Maya asked. - I forgot my flashlight in the tent, Liam replied. - Don't worry, I'll come with you, Maya said.
As they walked, they heard rustling leaves and strange animal sounds. Liam's heart raced, and he almost turned back. But Maya held his hand and reassured him. - We're almost there, Maya whispered. Suddenly, a branch snapped under Liam's foot, making him jump. - It's just a branch, Maya giggled.
When they reached the tent, Liam found his flashlight and felt relieved. But on their way back, the flashlight flickered and went out. - Oh no! Liam exclaimed. - It's okay, we'll find our way, Maya said, trying to stay calm. The darkness seemed to swallow them, and Liam felt like giving up.
Just then, they heard a familiar voice. - Liam, Maya, are you okay? It was their teacher, Mr. Arif. - Yes, but our flashlight died, Liam answered. - Use the moonlight and follow the path of the fireflies, Mr. Arif suggested. Liam looked up and saw the glowing fireflies leading the way.
