Shadow the kitty found a big, empty box in the living room. He was curious and excited to play. But the box was stuck on a high shelf. Shadow wanted to get it down. He needed to find a way to reach it.
Shadow tried jumping up to the shelf, but it was too high. He meowed loudly, hoping someone would help. - Can someone help me? Shadow asked. But no one came. Shadow felt sad.
Shadow tried to climb up the curtains to reach the box. But the curtains were slippery. - I won't give up! Shadow said. He slipped and landed softly on the floor. It seemed impossible.
Shadow sat and thought about giving up. - Maybe I can't do it, Shadow sighed. He felt small and tired. The box seemed so far away. Shadow needed a new idea.
Then, Shadow saw his favorite collar on the ground. He remembered how it always made him feel brave. - I'll try again, he decided. Shadow used the collar to catch the box's edge. It worked!
With a final tug, the box tumbled down. Shadow purred with joy. Inside the box, he found toys and treats. - I will share these with my friends! Shadow beamed. Shadow learned that sharing made him happiest of all.
