The Feeling Meadow

Wisdom Watercolor style

Sarah, a curious but sad girl, embarks on a journey in the Feeling Meadow with her cat Whiskers to discover why she's feeling blue. Along the way, they meet various animals who each offer wisdom on understanding and managing feelings.

In a tiny home on a hill near the Feeling Meadow, lived a girl named Sarah with her cat friend Whiskers. One morning Sarah woke up feeling a bit blue. She didn't understand why and didn't know what to do. - Why do I feel so sad, Whiskers? Sarah asked. - Let's go to the Feeling Meadow, maybe we can find something to lift your spirit! Whiskers cheered.

Whiskers saw how upset Sarah was and wanted to brighten her mood. - Sarah, how are you feeling? Whiskers asked. - I feel sad but can't figure out why, Sarah responded. - Let’s go to the Feeling Meadow, maybe we can find something to lift your spirit! Whiskers cheered. The two walked down the hill and past the bushes to the Feeling Path where they started their journey.

They passed by Jollyfly the butterfly who fluttered happily around the flowers and onto Sarah’s finger. - Hi there human, what brings you to the Feeling Meadow today? Jollyfly asked. - I'm feeling sad and wanted to find something to make me feel better. Do you know what I should do? Sarah questioned. - Of course! Just walk down the Feeling Path and you will find what you are looking for! Jollyfly said excitedly.

Whiskers and Sarah walked down the pebbly path and passed by the busy beehive. There they met Bizzy the Anxious Bee who was hurriedly making art with honey. - Hi there human, what brings you to the Feeling Meadow today? Bizzy asked. - I’m feeling sad and wanted to find something to make me feel better. Do you know what I should do? Sarah questioned. - Well Sarah, when I feel stressed I remember it's okay and try to understand my feelings. I also like being creative and letting my feelings out in my art! Bizzy responded.

Whiskers and Sarah continued their journey down the Feeling Path and passed by a calm pond. There Toby the Calm Turtle lay at the top of the rocks bathing in the sun. - Hi there human, what brings you to the Feeling Meadow today? Toby asked. - I’m feeling sad and wanted to find something to make me feel better. Do you know what I should do? Sarah questioned. - Well Sarah, when you are feeling blue it’s important to take it slow and find a safe place to relax. I like to sit on these rocks to think and take things at my own speed. Toby responded.

Whiskers and Sarah went on with their journey and suddenly passed an icy igloo. There they met Penny the sad penguin huddled with her penguin friends. - Hi there human, what brings you to the Feeling Meadow today? Penny asked. - I’m feeling sad and wanted to find something to make me feel better. Do you know what I should do? Sarah questioned. - Well Sarah, when I’m feeling sad I like to go to one of my friends or family and tell them how I am feeling. Sharing your feelings with someone you trust can always help you feel better! Penny replied.

After a long day traveling down the Feeling Path, the sun began to set. The two passed by one last spot. There they met Hooten the wise Owl sitting on a branch of an evergreen tree. - Hi there human, what brings you to the Feeling Meadow today? Hooten asked. - I was feeling a bit sad today and decided to come to the Feeling Meadow to find something to lift my spirits, Sarah responded. - Well, who did you find? Hooten questioned.

- I found new friends who taught me it's okay to feel my feelings and we should try to understand them so we can take care of them in our own ways to make us feel better! Sarah cheered. - That's wonderful, Sarah. Remember, wisdom comes from understanding our feelings and learning how to manage them. Hooten said. Sarah felt a warm glow inside her. - Thank you, Hooten. - You're welcome, Sarah. Now go and share your newfound wisdom with others. The sun set, and Sarah and Whiskers walked back home, feeling wiser and happier.
