The Fisherman and the Miracle Catch

Peter was a young fisherman with brown skin, short curly hair, and brown eyes. He wore simple clothing and worn-out sandals. Every morning, he went to the rocky shore to fish, but lately, he hadn’t been catching any fish.
Peter’s family depended on his catch to have food on the table. Day after day, he cast his net into the sea, but it always came back empty. Peter felt sad and worried.
One day, Peter decided to go fishing even earlier than usual. He hoped that starting early might help him catch something. But after hours of trying, his net was still empty.
Peter's best friend, John, saw him on the shore and approached him. Why do you look so sad, Peter? John asked. I haven’t caught any fish for days, Peter replied.
Maybe you should try a different spot, John suggested. Peter nodded and moved to another part of the shore. But even there, his net came back empty.
Peter tried fishing in deeper waters, thinking that might help. But the sea was rough, and the waves made it hard to keep his balance. Still, he cast his net, but it came back empty.
Peter then tried fishing near the rocks, hoping that fish might be hiding there. He cast his net carefully between the rocks. But when he pulled it out, it was empty again.
Peter was exhausted and decided to take a break. He sat on the shore, looking at his empty net. Maybe I’m just not a good fisherman, he thought sadly.
Peter's mother came to the shore to check on him. Don’t give up, Peter, she said. I’ve tried everything, and I still can’t catch any fish, Peter replied.
Peter decided to try one last time. He stood up and walked back to his boat. As he was about to cast his net, he saw a man standing on the shore.
Why don’t you cast your net on the other side of the boat? the man suggested. I’ve tried everywhere, Peter replied. Trust me, the man said with a gentle smile.
Peter decided to listen to the man. He cast his net on the other side of the boat, just as the man had suggested. To his amazement, the net became heavy with fish!
Peter pulled the net with all his strength, but it was so heavy that he needed help. John, come quickly! Peter shouted. John ran to help Peter pull the net.
This is a miracle! Peter exclaimed. Who is that man? John asked. Peter looked back at the shore, but the man was gone.
Peter remembered the man's words and realized he must have been Jesus. It was Jesus who helped us, Peter said. We must have faith and trust in Him.
From that day on, Peter always remembered to have faith and trust in Jesus. He never gave up, no matter how hard things got. And he always caught plenty of fish.
