Teco was a very curious little frog living near a beautiful pond in Paris. Every day, he watched the birds flying high in the sky. Teco dreamed of flying too, but everyone around him said frogs can't fly. He felt sad but determined to prove them wrong. " - I will find a way to fly!" Teco said to himself.
Teco decided to try his first idea. He tied big green leaves onto his back like wings. " - These will help me fly, I just know it!" he told his friend, the snail. He climbed to the top of a big rock and jumped. But instead of flying, he landed with a splash in the pond.
Not giving up, Teco tried again. This time, he thought jumping from a tree would work. He climbed the tallest tree near the pond. " - I'll surely fly this time!" he shouted, feeling excited. But once again, he fell straight down, landing on a soft patch of grass.
Teco's third idea involved asking his bird friends for help. He went to the sparrows and asked, " - Can you lift me up into the sky?" The birds tried, but Teco was too heavy for their tiny wings. " - Sorry, Teco," they chirped. He felt disappointed and wondered if he would ever fly.
