As they wandered deeper, they came across a babbling brook. The water was too wide to cross easily. - We can't get across, Colten sighed. - Let's find a bridge or make one, suggested Daddy. They searched for a way to cross the water safely.
They found some big stones and logs to create a bridge. Colten helped his daddy build it carefully. - We did it! Colten cheered. But as they crossed, a gust of wind blew the map into the air again! It flew higher and higher into the trees.
The map landed on a high tree branch, and Colten felt a bit discouraged. - It's too high, Colten said. - We can't give up now, Daddy encouraged. They looked around for something to help reach it.
Nearby, they spotted a wise old owl perched on a lower branch. - Maybe he can help us, Colten suggested. - Let's ask him, Daddy agreed. They approached the owl, hoping for some advice.
