The Hippo Clan

Justice Digital art style

At St. Carthagh's School in Tweed, four imaginative friends discover a magical world of hippos under their playground. They must protect it from the nosy monkey clan using their wits and teamwork.

At St. Carthagh's School, four friends called the Hippo Clan, loved exploring at recess. One day, they stumbled upon a secret tunnel under the playground. The tunnel led to an underground world of hippos living in candy caverns. But their magical world was in danger. The mischievous monkey clan was getting close to discovering the tunnel.

The Hippo Clan knew they had to act fast. Huxley, the leader, said, - We need to block the tunnel before the monkeys find it. Isaac suggested using sticks and leaves. But the first obstacle was the curious school janitor who almost saw them.

They needed a better plan, so Leila thought of using mud to make a fake wall. Gabe brought the mud, but it was too slippery and wouldn't stay. - This isn't working, Gabe sighed. Meanwhile, the monkey clan was seen near the playground. The Hippo Clan was running out of time.

Feeling defeated, they sat on the swings. - Maybe we should give up, Isaac whispered. Huxley said, - We can't let the hippos down. But the problem seemed too big for them to handle. They almost decided to leave the tunnel alone.

Just then, their teacher, Ms. Willow, walked by and asked what was wrong. After they explained, she smiled and said, - Use what you’ve learned in class to solve it. Inspired, the Hippo Clan remembered their recent lesson on simple machines. They quickly built a pulley system using ropes and logs.

With the pulley, they could easily move a heavy rock over the tunnel. - We did it! cheered Leila as the rock covered the entrance perfectly. The Hippo Clan high-fived each other. The monkey clan was confused and gave up. The magical hippo world was safe once more.
