- We could build a raft! Anna suggested. But they didn't have any tools. They searched for sticks and vines to make a simple raft.
The raft floated but sank halfway across. - Oh no! Timmy shouted. They paddled back and tried to think of another way.
Lily remembered a story her grandma told her about using stepping stones. - Let's find some big stones! she said. They carefully crossed the river on the stones.
The group reached a dark cave. - It's so spooky! Anna whispered. They couldn't see anything inside.
Lily felt scared and thought about giving up. - Maybe we can't do this, she said sadly. But her friends encouraged her to keep going.
Suddenly, an owl flew down and spoke to them. - Use your wisdom and trust each other, the owl hooted. They realized they needed to work together and think carefully.
