His friends, Polly the parrot and Tilly the tortoise, watched with worry. " - Be careful, Max," Polly warned. "You might get stuck!" But Max was too busy to hear them.
Max swung from tree to tree, his knotted tail bouncing behind him. Suddenly, he saw a big branch ahead. " - Watch me fly!" Max shouted. Polly and Tilly gasped. " - Slow down, Max!" Tilly urged. But Max just laughed and leaped straight for the branch.
As Max jumped, his tail got caught on the sharp branch! He dangled upside down, arms flailing. " - Help! I can't get down!" Max cried. Polly flew close, " - Oh, Max! You should have listened!" Tilly nodded, " - See? We were worried this would happen." Max felt stuck and scared.
Max tried pulling and tugging, but nothing worked. " - I'll never get down," he sniffed, tears in his eyes. He started to feel hopeless. " - I should give up," he whispered, feeling very sad. Polly and Tilly exchanged worried glances. " - Don't worry, Max, we'll think of something," Polly chirped softly.
Then Polly had an idea. " - What if Tilly pushes the branch?" she suggested. Tilly nodded, " - I can do that!" Polly flapped her wings excitedly. " - I'll help guide him!" Max watched his friends work together with hope in his heart. " - Okay, let's try it!" he said, feeling a bit braver.
With teamwork, Polly and Tilly managed to free Max. " - You're free!" Polly cheered as Max landed on the ground. " - Thank you!" Max laughed. "I learned my lesson!" Tilly smiled, " - Now you know why we were worried." Max nodded, " - I'll be more careful from now on!"
