The New Brother

Tolerance Pixar style

In the small town of Stonewall, Canada, a little boy named Sam is about to meet his new baby brother. Sam feels unsure about sharing his mom and his toys. Through a journey filled with obstacles and emotions, Sam learns the important lesson of tolerance and love.

Sam was playing outside, building a big tower with his blocks. Suddenly, his mom called him inside. She had exciting news. " - You're going to have a new baby brother, Sam," she said. Sam's eyes widened with surprise and a little worry. " - But... will you still have time to play with me?" Sam asked.

Sam's mom explained that the new baby would need lots of care. Sam felt a little left out. " - What if he takes all my toys?" Sam wondered. He didn't like the idea of sharing his favorite red truck. Sam decided he would guard his toys closely.

The next day, Sam tried to talk to his mom while she was busy with baby things. " - Can we play now, Mom?" Sam asked, tugging at her sleeve. But she was too busy. Sam stomped his foot in frustration. " - It's not fair!" he said. He felt a little lonely.

Sam decided to play alone, but nothing felt right. He tried to build his block tower again, but it kept falling. " - Why won't it work?" Sam sighed. He missed having his mom play with him. Sam felt like giving up on having fun.

One evening, Sam's grandma came to visit. She noticed Sam's frown. " - What's wrong, Sam?" Grandma asked gently. Sam explained everything. Grandma smiled and said, " - You know, sharing can be fun. Maybe you could be the best big brother ever." Sam thought about it.

Sam decided to try being a good big brother. The next day, he showed his baby brother his toys. " - Look, this is my red truck," Sam said. The baby giggled and reached out. Sam felt a little happy inside. Maybe sharing wasn't so bad after all.

As days passed, Sam found new games to play with his brother. They laughed and giggled together. " - You're funny," Sam said to the baby. He realized he liked being a big brother. Sam's mom noticed and gave him a big hug. " - I'm so proud of you, Sam," she said.

Sam learned that sharing wasn't so bad. He felt happy and loved. " - I'm glad you're my brother," Sam said softly. He promised to always take care of him. Sam knew that being a big brother was a big adventure, filled with love and fun.
