Just as she was about to give up, she heard a rustle. An owl swooped down and landed nearby. 'Who are you?' Lily asked. 'A friend,' the owl replied. 'I can guide you to the pumpkin patch.'
'Follow me,' the owl said, leading Lily through a hidden path. They walked for what seemed like hours. Finally, they reached a clearing. In the center was the most beautiful pumpkin patch Lily had ever seen.
Lily's eyes widened in amazement. 'I found it!' she exclaimed. But as she stepped into the patch, a thick fog began to roll in. 'Oh no, I can't see anything!' she cried.
