Sammy didn't like vegetables at all. He would always push them off his plate. One day, his grandmother gave him a bag of colorful seeds. "These seeds will grow into a magical garden," she said. Sammy planted them, hoping for something special.
Sammy waited and watered the garden every day. But nothing happened! "Why aren't they growing, Grandma?" Sammy asked. "Be patient, my dear," she replied. Sammy decided to give it a bit more time.
After weeks, tiny green sprouts finally peeked out of the soil. Sammy was excited, but then the rain came pouring down. "Oh no, my garden!" Sammy cried. He tried to cover the sprouts with a big umbrella.
Despite his efforts, some sprouts withered away. Sammy felt sad and thought about giving up. "Maybe I'm not meant to have a garden," he sighed. He sat on the porch, staring at the cloudy sky.
Then, his grandmother joined him and shared a story about her first garden. "It takes time and care, Sammy," she encouraged. Sammy felt hopeful again and returned to the garden. He replanted the seeds with extra care.
Finally, the garden burst into colors of the rainbow. Sammy tasted the red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple vegetables. "These are delicious and good for you!" he exclaimed. Sammy invited his friends to share the harvest.
