Bluepuppy, a brave 6-year-old stuffed animal, lived in Houston, Texas with four friends. They decided to escape from their owner at midnight to find freedom. But when they tried to open the window, it was locked! How would they get out?
Bluepuppy looked at his friends: Mr. Hoppity the rabbit, Cuddles the bear, Fluffy the cat, and Spotty the dog. They needed a new plan. Mr. Hoppity suggested using a hairpin to pick the lock. They tried, but it didn't work.
Next, Fluffy suggested they try the door. But when they got there, they found it was also locked. Cuddles tried to use his strength to push it open, but it wouldn't budge. They were starting to feel hopeless.
Bluepuppy sighed and sat down. He felt like giving up. How would they ever escape? His friends gathered around him, looking just as sad.
Just then, Spotty had an idea. - What if we use the toy box to climb up to the attic? he suggested. They all cheered and quickly got to work. It was a risky plan, but it was their only hope.
They stacked the toy box and climbed up to the attic. Bluepuppy found a small window there that was open. - We did it! he exclaimed. One by one, they climbed out to freedom. They had found the courage to escape.
