The Sweetness of Doughnuts and Friendship

Honesty Digital art style

Ruby, a generous little girl in London, loves sharing her mom's delicious doughnuts with her friends. But when jealousy and lies threaten her friendships, Ruby must learn the value of honesty to make things right again.

Once upon a time in London, there lived a kind-hearted girl named Ruby. Ruby loved to share the delicious doughnuts her mom baked with all her friends. One sunny day, Ruby brought a big strawberry doughnut to share. But her friend Jacqueline refused the doughnut, which was very unusual. Jacqueline was jealous of Ruby's popularity and decided to make Ruby lose her friends.

Later, Jacqueline whispered to Ruby that Alice said her mom’s doughnuts were bad. Ruby felt hurt and angry at Alice. The next time she saw Alice, Ruby glared at her. - Why would you say something so mean? Ruby asked. Alice was confused and didn’t understand why Ruby was mad.

Ruby stopped sharing her doughnuts with Alice and told her other friends Alice said bad things about her mom’s doughnuts. Soon, all the girls stopped playing with Alice. Alice felt lonely and sad, not knowing why Ruby was being so mean. Jacqueline pretended to feel sorry for Alice, but she knew she had caused the trouble.

Alice couldn’t take it anymore and decided to speak up. - I never said anything bad about Ruby’s doughnuts! Jacqueline lied to her! Alice said to the other girls. The girls were shocked and unsure of what to believe. Ruby felt bad realizing Jacqueline had tricked her.

Ruby went to her friend Rachel and asked why no one was talking to her. - You were mean to Alice and lied about her. No one wants to be friends with someone who says hurtful things, Rachel said. Ruby realized how wrong she had been and decided to apologize.

Ruby and her mom went to Alice’s house to apologize. - I’m really sorry. I believed a lie and was mean to you. Will you forgive me? Ruby said. Alice forgave Ruby, and they told their friends the truth about Jacqueline’s lie. The girls forgave Jacqueline too, and they all shared doughnuts, remembering to always be honest and kind.
