Ruby set off towards the Enchanted Woods, where it was rumored an old sorceress lived. But as she reached the forest's edge, a thick, tangled vine blocked her path. " - How am I supposed to get past this?" she muttered in frustration. With her small hands, she tried to pull apart the vines, but they wouldn't budge.
After finally squeezing through, Ruby encountered a deep, rushing river. There was no bridge in sight. " - I can't swim across this," she said, her voice trembling. Her heart sank as she realized the river was too strong to cross. Sitting by the riverbank, she wondered how she could continue her journey.
Discouraged, Ruby sat on a rock and considered turning back. " - Maybe I'm not strong enough to do this," she said, tears welling up in her eyes.
