The Tales of Sammy the Shy Star
Sammy is a little star who must find the courage to shine brightly and help a lost friend, overcoming his shyness and fear along the way.
In the night sky, little Sammy the Star often hid behind a cloud. He was too shy to shine like the other stars. Sammy wished he could be brave. One night, he heard a tiny voice from Earth. It was Lulu the Firefly, lost and scared.
Sammy wanted to help Lulu, but he was scared. - What if I'm not bright enough? Sammy wondered. The Moon watched and said, - You can do it, Sammy. Sammy still hesitated. He didn't think his light was strong.
Sammy tried to shine, but his light flickered weakly. - It's too hard, Sammy sighed. The other stars giggled, which made him sadder. Sammy tried again, but nothing happened. He felt very small and alone.
Sammy hid behind his cloud again, feeling hopeless. - Maybe I should just stay here, he thought. The Moon saw him and whispered, - Don't give up, Sammy. Sammy felt tired and didn't know what to do. He wanted to help Lulu but felt he couldn't.
Just as Sammy was about to give up, the Moon spoke gently. - Even the smallest stars can light the way. Sammy thought about it and felt a tiny spark of hope. He decided to try one more time. - I want to help Lulu, Sammy said with determination.
Sammy took a deep breath and stepped out from the cloud. He focused hard, and his light began to twinkle. At first, it was faint, but then it grew brighter. - Look, Lulu! Follow my light! Sammy called out. Lulu flapped her wings and began to follow.
Sammy shone as brightly as he could, lighting a path for Lulu. She followed his light through the night sky. - You're doing it, Sammy! Lulu cheered. Sammy felt proud and happy. His light was guiding Lulu safely home.
Finally, Lulu saw her meadow below. - I see it! Lulu exclaimed excitedly. Sammy's light had guided her home. - Thank you, Sammy! Lulu said gratefully. Sammy felt a warmth in his heart.
Now Sammy knew he could be brave. He no longer hid behind his cloud. - I'm not too small, he said confidently. The other stars welcomed him warmly. Sammy felt happy and proud every night.
