The Wizard of Oz

Courage Watercolor style

Dorothy, a curious 12-year-old girl from Kansas, finds herself in the magical land of Oz. Faced with a series of obstacles, she must summon the courage to solve a great problem and find her way home.

Dorothy lived on a farm in Kansas with her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry. One day, a terrible tornado hit their town, and Dorothy was swept away to the magical land of Oz. She landed in a beautiful but strange place and quickly realized she needed to find her way back home. However, she learned from the Good Witch that only the Wizard of Oz could help her. Her journey to find the Wizard and return home had just begun.

Dorothy set out on the yellow brick road toward the Emerald City where the Wizard lived. Along the way, she met a Scarecrow who was sad because he didn't have a brain. Dorothy decided to invite him along, hoping the Wizard could help him too. But soon, they came across a river that seemed impossible to cross.

Dorothy and the Scarecrow struggled to find a way to cross the river. As they were thinking, a Tin Man approached them, looking rusty and frozen. Dorothy helped oil his joints, and he joined them on their journey, hoping to get a heart from the Wizard. But then, they were confronted by a dark, spooky forest filled with frightening noises.

The forest was so scary that Dorothy felt like giving up. She sat down and began to cry. The Scarecrow tried to comfort her, but he didn't know what to say. She felt hopeless and wondered if she would ever get home. The Tin Man also looked worried but tried to stay strong for Dorothy.

Just as Dorothy was about to give up, a lion appeared and admitted he was afraid. Dorothy realized she wasn't the only one who needed courage. Together, they encouraged each other and decided to keep going. The lion joined them, hoping the Wizard could give him courage.

Finally, after many trials, they reached the Emerald City and met the Wizard. He revealed that they had the power to solve their problems all along. Dorothy clicked her red shoes together and wished to go home. In an instant, she was back in Kansas, feeling braver and more confident than ever.
