Once there was a little crow. It was very hot outside. The crow was very thirsty and needed water. But there was no water anywhere. The crow felt sad. - Where can I find water? the crow wondered.
The crow flew and flew, searching for water. Finally, it saw a pitcher. The crow was happy. But there was a problem. The water was too low for the crow to reach. - How can I drink this water? the crow said.
The crow tried to tip the pitcher. But it was too heavy. The crow tried to reach the water with its beak. But it couldn't. - This is hard, the crow sighed. What can I do now?
The crow felt like giving up. It was so thirsty. The sun was getting hotter. - Maybe I should just go home, the crow thought. But it didn't want to leave without water.
Then the crow had an idea. It found small stones nearby. The crow picked them up one by one. - Maybe this will work, the crow hoped. It dropped the stones into the pitcher.
The water rose to the top! The crow could finally drink. It was so happy. - I did it! the crow cheered. Now the crow wasn't thirsty anymore.
