Tim and Tom
In an elementary school, Tom and Tim face the struggles of bullying and hunger. Tom stands up for Tim against bullies, but later finds himself without lunch money. Tim's act of sharing becomes a lesson in charity, as they both learn the importance of kindness and friendship.
Tom and Tim were in the same class at Evergreen Elementary. One day, Tim was surrounded by bullies who took his lunch money. Tom, who was always friendly, didn't like seeing someone in trouble. He decided to stand up for Tim. The problem was, standing up to bullies wasn't easy. Tom's heart raced as he approached the group.
Tom walked over to the bullies and told them to stop. But, they just laughed and pushed Tom away. Tim looked worried and whispered, - "Why are you helping me? You'll get in trouble." Tom shrugged, "I don't like bullies." But it seemed the bullies were not going to back down so easily.
Tom tried several times to convince the bullies to leave Tim alone. Each time, they mocked him and ignored his pleas. Tom felt powerless and started to doubt himself. - Maybe I should just give up, Tom thought. But then he saw Tim's worried face and knew he had to keep trying.
Tom was about to give up when he remembered something his teacher once said. - "Remember, kindness is stronger than anger." Tom realized he could try a different approach. Instead of confronting the bullies, he decided to show them kindness. It was an idea worth trying.
The next day, Tom brought extra cookies to school. When he saw the bullies, he offered them some. - "Everyone deserves a friend, even you." said Tom with a smile. The bullies were surprised but accepted the cookies. They left Tim alone after that, and Tom felt relieved.
Later, Tim noticed Tom sitting alone without lunch. - Why aren't you eating? Tim asked. Tom admitted he didn't have money for lunch that day. Tim didn't hesitate to share his sandwich with Tom. - Thanks, Tim. You're a true friend, said Tom. Together, they learned the value of kindness and friendship.
