Tyson's Super Power
Tyson is a 7 years old student at Rockingham School. He will soon be eight years old on October 15th. That said, when the school faces a crisis, Tyson struggles to use his powers effectively. Will he find a way to help everyone in need and save the day?
Tyson was excited. Today was the big day at Rockingham Elementary School. The school was collecting food for families in need. But something was wrong. The principal announced that the food donations had gone missing. Without the donations, families might not have enough food for the holidays. Tyson knew he had to help.
Tyson decided to search for the missing food. He checked the School Counsellors office, but it was empty. "Have you seen the donations?" Tyson asked Mr. Zelios. "No, I haven't," Mr. Zelios replied, looking worried. Tyson felt stuck, but he didn't want to give up.
Tyson moved to the school gym but found nothing. " Maybe the custodian knows something," Ms. Gail suggested. Tyson asked the custodian, but he hadn't seen the food either. Tyson felt even more helpless. He needed to think of a new plan quickly.
Tyson began to feel defeated. "Maybe we can't find the food," he admitted. Ms. Gail shook her head. "We can't give up now, Tyson," she insisted. Tyson sighed. He sat down, feeling like he had failed.
Suddenly, Tyson had an idea. " What if we ask everyone to bring just one more item?" he suggested. Ms. Gail's eyes lit up. " That's brilliant!" she exclaimed. They quickly spread the word, hoping their classmates would help.
By the end of the day, the donation boxes were full again. Tyson couldn't believe it. "We did it!" he cheered. The principal Ms. Bona thanked everyone for their generosity. Tyson realized his superpower was more powerful than he thought.
