Vale was playing on the beach in Jupiter, Florida. He suddenly saw something huge and blue far out in the ocean. Vale ran to his mom and asked, - What is that, Mom? She squinted and said, - It looks like a blue whale, Vale! Vale was excited and wanted to know more about the whales.
Vale ran to a local fisherman named Mr. Joe. - Mr. Joe, can you tell me about the blue whales? Mr. Joe smiled and said, - Those whales are special and they visit our waters every year. But Vale had another question, - Why do they come here? Mr. Joe sighed and said, - That's a mystery we haven't solved yet.
Vale decided he would solve the mystery of the blue whales. He started by asking other beachgoers, but no one knew. He even asked his friends, but they just shrugged. Vale felt a bit discouraged. - Maybe I can't solve this, he thought. But he didn't want to give up just yet.
Vale tried looking for clues by the shore. He found shells and seaweed but no answers. Then, a big wave knocked him over, and he got all wet. Vale sat down, feeling sad. - I don't think I'll ever solve this mystery, he said to himself. He thought about giving up.
