It was Ved's first day of school, and he was nervous. He wanted to make new friends and have fun. But Ved had a secret. He accidentally broke his toy car and hoped no one would find out. Ved worried, 'What if my new friends find out I broke it?'
Ved entered the classroom and saw all the children playing with toys. He wanted to join them but felt scared. - Why are you sad? asked a friendly classmate. - I broke my toy car, Ved whispered. - It's okay, maybe we can fix it together, said the classmate.
During playtime, Ved tried to join the block-building group. But his mind was still on the broken car. - Come play with us! shouted a friend. Ved hesitated and then said, - I can't, I have to fix my car. He felt sad again. What if he couldn't fix it?
Ved sat alone in the corner, almost ready to give up. He thought about telling the truth but was scared. - I’ll never fix it, he sighed. - Don't worry, said his teacher kindly. - Sometimes problems feel big, but we can solve them together. Do you want help?
Ved decided to be brave and tell the truth. - I broke my toy car, he admitted. His teacher smiled and said, - That's honest, Ved. Let's fix it together. Ved felt a weight lift off his shoulders as they worked together to fix the toy car.
With the car fixed, Ved smiled wide. He was proud of being honest. - I did it! he cheered. His friends clapped and said, - Let's play together now! Ved learned that honesty feels good and makes friendships stronger.
