Violette and the Mud Monster
Violette is a brave little girl who loves playing on the beach. One day, she builds a big mud castle, and to her surprise, it magically comes alive as a friendly mud monster! But something's wrong—the monster is too scared to play in the water. With courage and determination, Violette sets out to help her new friend overcome its fear. Violette loved the beach. She spent her afternoons building sandcastles and collecting seashells. One sunny day, she built the biggest mud castle ever. Suddenly, the castle wiggled and turned into a mud monster! The mud monster looked sad and mumbled, " - I'm scared of the water." Violette knew she had to help the monster be brave.
Violette wanted to help the mud monster play in the water. " - Let's splash in the waves!" she said. But the monster shook its head, frightened. The first obstacle was the big crashing waves. They seemed too loud and scary. Violette held the monster's hand and said, " - We can be brave together!"
The waves were not the only problem. Suddenly, a crab scuttled by and pinched the monster's toe. " - Ouch!" cried the monster. Violette chased the crab away, but now the monster was more scared. " - We'll find a way," Violette promised, even though she was worried too. The sun began to set, and the beach grew quiet.
Violette sat down, feeling sad. " - Maybe we can't do it," she sighed. The monster sat beside her, its eyes watering. " - I just want to be brave," it whispered. Violette thought about giving up. But then she remembered how much she loved her beach friend. " - We can't give up," she said softly.
Just then, a friendly seagull landed nearby. " - Hello, little ones!" it chirped. " - I used to be afraid of flying, but I practiced!" The seagull flapped its wings gracefully. Violette's eyes lit up. " - Practice makes brave!" she exclaimed to the monster. " - We can try the water little by little."
Violette and the monster took small steps toward the waves. " - We can do this!" cheered Violette. With each step, the monster grew braver. Finally, they jumped into the water together, laughing. The monster splashed happily, its fear gone. " - Thank you, Violette," it said joyfully. Courage had won the day!
