In a busy city called Kathmandu, there lived a little boy named Sengten. Sengten had short silky hair and yellowish skin. He was stubborn and wanted everything right away. One sunny morning, Sengten wanted a sweet treat. His mother, Aama, told him to wait.

- Aama, I want the sweet treat now! Sengten demanded. - You must wait, my dear, Aama replied. Sengten crossed his arms and stomped his feet. But Aama was busy cooking dinner. Sengten had to wait.

Sengten saw his favorite toy car on a high shelf. - Aama, get my toy car! he shouted. - You need to wait, Sengten, Aama said. Sengten tried to climb the shelf but couldn't reach. He felt frustrated.

Sengten sat on the floor and felt like giving up. - I can't wait anymore, Aama, he cried. Aama knelt beside him and hugged him. - Sometimes waiting is good, my dear, she said softly. Sengten sighed deeply.

Aama told Sengten a story about a wise old man. - The wise old man said, 'Good things come to those who wait,' Aama explained. Sengten listened carefully. - Maybe waiting isn't so bad, Sengten thought. He decided to try again.

Sengten waited patiently for his toy car. - Aama, can I have my toy car now? he asked politely. - Yes, you waited patiently, Aama smiled, handing him the toy. Sengten felt proud. He learned that waiting is good.
