We Love You Mumma

Honesty Watercolor style

A heartwarming story about two young children, Remzie and Nixon, who embark on a quest to discover what everyone loves most about their Mumma, Maddie. Along the way, they learn the importance of honesty and the power of love.

It was a bright morning in country Victoria, Australia. Maddie, with her medium blonde wavy hair, was busy tending to the farm while her two children, Remzie and Nixon, played nearby. Today was special—it was Maddie's 30th birthday. Remzie and Nixon wanted to do something extra special for their Mumma. They decided to find out what everyone loved most about her.

Remzie and Nixon went to their dad first. He was fixing the tractor in the shed. They asked him what he loved most about Mumma. He paused and smiled, 'I love how honest and kind she is.' But this wasn't enough for the kids; they wanted more answers.

Next, they visited their Aunty, who was baking a cake in the kitchen. 'Aunty, what do you love most about Mumma?' Nixon asked. Aunty laughed, 'I love her honesty and the way she always makes time for everyone.' Still, Remzie and Nixon felt they needed to hear more.

They went to their grandparents, who were sitting on the porch. 'Grandma, Grandpa, what do you love most about Mumma?' Remzie asked eagerly. Grandpa thought for a moment. 'Her honesty and loving nature,' he replied. But the kids were starting to feel a bit disheartened. They still didn't have enough to make Mumma's birthday special.

Feeling a bit defeated, Remzie and Nixon sat under a big oak tree. 'Maybe we should give up,' Nixon said sadly. Just then, their friend Lily came running over. 'Hey, what's wrong?' she asked. After hearing their story, Lily had an idea. 'Why don't you tell Mumma what you love most about her?' she suggested.

Remzie and Nixon's eyes lit up. They rushed back home and found Mumma resting in the living room. 'Mumma, we asked everyone what they loved most about you,' Remzie began. 'But we realized, we love you because you're the best Mumma ever!' Nixon added. Maddie hugged them tightly, tears of joy in her eyes. 'Honesty is the best gift you could give me,' she said.
