Ilay was a brave 7-year-old girl with long yellow hair. She lived in a cozy apartment in Paris with her mom and dad. One sunny morning, Ilay woke up to find her favorite toy, Mr. Bunny, missing. 'Who could have taken Mr. Bunny?' she wondered. Without Mr. Bunny, Ilay felt lost and scared.
Ilay decided to search for Mr. Bunny. She put on her favorite red dress and headed out. 'I'll find you, Mr. Bunny!' she said bravely. She started by looking around her apartment, but there was no sign of him. Ilay felt a little worried but didn't give up.
Ilay's first stop was the garden near her building. She thought Mr. Bunny might be hiding there. But when she arrived, the garden was empty. 'Where could he be?' Ilay asked her friend, Mr. Bear. Mr. Bear hugged her and said, - Don't worry, Ilay. We'll find him together.
Ilay and Mr. Bear decided to look in the park. They searched high and low, but Mr. Bunny was nowhere to be found. 'Maybe he's at the bakery,' Ilay suggested. They hurried to the bakery, but there was no sign of Mr. Bunny. Ilay's heart sank a little.
Next, Ilay and Mr. Bear went to the library. They thought maybe Mr. Bunny was hiding among the books. But after searching every shelf, they still couldn't find him. 'This is harder than I thought,' Ilay said. Mr. Bear nodded and gave her a comforting pat.
Finally, Ilay and Mr. Bear went to the riverbank. They looked under the bridge and in the bushes. 'Mr. Bunny, where are you?' Ilay called out. But there was no answer. 'I don't know what to do,' Ilay said, feeling tears in her eyes.
Ilay sat down on a bench, feeling very sad and tired. 'Maybe I'll never find Mr. Bunny,' she said quietly. Mr. Bear sat next to her, looking equally sad. Ilay thought about giving up. 'Is it time to go home?' she asked. Mr. Bear didn't know what to say.
Just when Ilay felt like giving up, a wise old pigeon flew down. 'Why are you so sad, little one?' the pigeon asked. - I lost Mr. Bunny, Ilay replied. The pigeon thought for a moment and said, - Sometimes, the answer is in the place you least expect.
Ilay's eyes lit up. 'The place I least expect!' she repeated. She suddenly remembered the attic in her apartment. 'Maybe Mr. Bunny is there!' she exclaimed. With renewed hope, Ilay and Mr. Bear rushed back home. 'Thank you, Mr. Pigeon!' Ilay called out.
Ilay and Mr. Bear climbed up to the attic. It was dark and dusty, but they didn't give up. 'Mr. Bunny, are you here?' Ilay called out. Suddenly, she saw a small, familiar shape in the corner. 'Mr. Bunny!' she cried, running over to hug him tight.
