Zeno woke up early in his cozy bedroom. Today was a special day because he had to solve a big puzzle his teacher gave him. The puzzle was about finding hidden letters around his house. Zeno’s mom reminded him that he had until noon to finish. ‘Oh no, I need to hurry!’ Zeno thought.
Zeno rushed downstairs, but his little sister, Mia, was blocking the way. She was playing with her toys and wouldn’t move. ‘Mia, I need to pass!’ Zeno said urgently. But Mia just giggled and continued playing. Zeno realized he had to find a way around her.
Zeno found a way around Mia and went to the kitchen. But oh no, the kitchen was a mess! His dad was making breakfast, and there were pots and pans everywhere. ‘Dad, I need to find the hidden letters!’ Zeno exclaimed. ‘Careful, Zeno, don’t trip!’ his dad warned.
After carefully searching the kitchen, Zeno couldn’t find any hidden letters. He felt frustrated and thought about giving up. ‘Maybe I’m not smart enough,’ Zeno mumbled to himself. He sat down on the floor, feeling sad. Mia came over and patted his back.
