Zorro's First Day at Puppy School
Zorro, a bubbly puppy, is excited for his first day at puppy school until he discovers his favorite blanket is missing. Overcome by anxiety, Zorro struggles to find courage. With the help of his friends, he learns to calm himself and face the day bravely.
Zorro was a playful puppy with a big day ahead. It was his first day at puppy school! As he wagged his tail excitedly, he realized something was wrong. His favorite blanket, the one that smelled like mom, was missing! Zorro's heart sank.
Zorro's friends, Leo the orange cat and Bronson the blue Staffordshire dog, came to pick him up. They noticed Zorro looking sad and asked what was wrong. - I can't find my blanket! It's the worst thing ever! Zorro exclaimed. Leo and Bronson tried to reassure him.
Together, they searched high and low, under the couch and behind the curtains, but the blanket was nowhere to be found. Zorro's anxiety grew, and he felt like giving up. - What if I can't go to puppy school without it? he worried. His friends were determined to help.
Zorro sat down, feeling defeated. - Maybe I should just stay home today, he sighed. But Leo and Bronson wouldn't let him give up. - We believe in you, Zorro, Leo purred. - We'll help you calm down, Bronson added with a wag of his tail.
Leo and Bronson helped Zorro use his senses to calm down. - What can you see? Leo asked. Zorro looked around and counted five things. Then he listened for four sounds and found three things to touch. He smelled two scents and tasted one treat. With each step, his courage returned.
With his friends' support, Zorro decided to be brave and go to school. - We believe in you, Bronson barked. Zorro had a wonderful day at school and learned so much. When he returned home, there was his blanket, freshly washed on his bed! He realized he could be brave without it.
