Remi loved airplanes more than anything. He wanted to fly high in the sky, just like the pilots he saw at the airport. But there was one big problem: Remi was too little to fly a plane. Remi decided to build his own airplane. He gathered boxes, paper, and tape from around the house. But when he tried to make the wings, they wouldn't stay up. ' - Oh no, my plane won't fly!' Remi cried. His mom came to help but the wings kept falling. ' - Keep trying, Remi,' she encouraged, ' - You're doing great!'
Remi tried again, but this time it started to rain. His paper wings got soggy and fell apart. ' - Why won't it work?' Remi sighed, feeling frustrated. He watched the rain through his window, wondering what to do next. ' - Maybe I'm too small to be a pilot,' he thought sadly. But deep inside, Remi knew he had to try again.
Remi felt like giving up. ' - Maybe I'll never be a pilot,' he whispered to his teddy bear. His mom hugged him tight and said, ' - It's okay to feel sad, but don't give up.' Remi thought about all the airplanes he loved. He knew he had to find another way. ' - I need help,' he realized.
The next day, Remi's grandpa came to visit. ' - I heard you're trying to be a pilot,' Grandpa said with a wink. ' - I have a plan to help you.' They went to the park where Grandpa showed Remi how to make a strong paper airplane. ' - Wow, it flies!' Remi cheered. Remi learned that wisdom and patience could solve his problem.
With his new paper airplane, Remi flew it high and far. ' - I'm flying!' Remi laughed, running across the field. His heart soared with joy, just like a real pilot. Remi realized that someday, with wisdom and patience, he could really fly an airplane. ' - I'll keep dreaming and trying,' Remi promised. And with that, Remi's skyward adventure had only just begun.
