A Visit to Apple Tree Farm
Freddie the bear sets out on an adventure to Apple Tree Farm, but when he discovers the animals have no food, he must find a way to help them. Facing challenges, Freddie's curiosity leads him on a path of kindness and generosity.
Freddie the bear wore his yellow duffle coat, green wellington boots, and red wooly scarf. He was excited to visit Apple Tree Farm in Cornwall. But when he arrived, he saw the animals were hungry. There wasn't enough food for the animals! This made Freddie sad. He wanted to help.
Freddie decided to find food for the animals. He looked around the farm but only found empty baskets. " - Where can I find food?" Freddie asked himself. He went to the barn, but it was empty too. " - Oh no, what should I do now?" he wondered.
Freddie went to the orchard, thinking he might find some apples. But the trees were bare! " - Why are there no apples?" he exclaimed. He searched the ground, hoping to find some fallen apples. There were none. " - This is harder than I thought," Freddie sighed.
Feeling a little sad, Freddie sat on a hay bale. " - I can't find food," he whispered. He watched the hungry animals and felt worried. " - Maybe I should just go home," he thought. Freddie felt like giving up.
Just then, Farmer Joe walked by. " - What's wrong, Freddie?" he asked. " - I want to feed the animals, but I can't find any food," Freddie replied. Farmer Joe smiled, " - I have an idea! We can ask the neighbors for help." Freddie's eyes lit up with hope.
Freddie and Farmer Joe walked to the neighboring farms. They knocked on doors and explained the problem. " - Could you share some food for the animals?" Freddie asked. The neighbors were kind and gave them lots of food. Freddie felt grateful and excited.
Back at Apple Tree Farm, Freddie and Farmer Joe shared the food with the animals. The animals were happy and full of energy. " - Thank you, Freddie!" said the sheep. " - You're welcome!" Freddie beamed. His heart was full of joy.
Freddie felt proud of his efforts. He realized that asking for help was a good idea. " - Helping others feels wonderful," he thought. The animals were now fed and cheerful. Freddie waved goodbye and promised to visit again soon.
