Logan, Chase, and Libby loved spending sunny days at the beach. One day, they noticed something strange. All the children's beach toys were missing! Logan frowned as he looked around. - Where did all the toys go? Logan asked. The three friends agreed to solve the mystery.
Logan and his dogs began their search. As they wandered the beach, they noticed a trail of footprints leading away from the toy area. - Look! Footprints! Logan said excitedly. But the footprints suddenly disappeared near a big rock. - This is going to be harder than I thought, Logan sighed.
The next day, they returned to the beach. Logan spotted a crab holding a toy shovel. - Maybe the crabs are taking the toys! Logan suggested. But when they followed the crab, it just returned the shovel to a little girl. - I guess crabs aren't the culprits, Logan realized.
Logan, Chase, and Libby sat on a beach towel, thinking of what to do next. Suddenly, they heard laughter from behind the sand dunes. - Let's check it out! Logan whispered. They crept closer and found some playful dolphins juggling a beach ball in the water. - Dolphins just want to have fun! Logan giggled.
Feeling tired, Logan and his dogs decided to rest under a shady umbrella. - Maybe we should give up, Logan said sadly. Chase and Libby looked at him with hopeful eyes. They didn't want to stop trying. - We can do this, Logan! Libby barked encouragingly.
Logan suddenly remembered something the lifeguard had told him. - The pelicans! Logan exclaimed. He explained to Chase and Libby that pelicans sometimes collect shiny things. - Let's find their nest, Logan decided. They hurried to the rocky part of the beach.
Finally, they reached the pelicans' nesting area. - Look at all those toys! Logan gasped. The pelicans had gathered a collection of colorful beach toys. - We found the toys! Libby barked excitedly. Now, they needed a plan to return them.
Logan thought hard about how to get the toys back. - Maybe if we offer the pelicans something else, they'll give us the toys, Logan suggested. He found some shiny shells and placed them nearby. - Please, take these instead, Logan said kindly.
The pelicans cawed loudly and flapped their wings. Slowly, they began to drop the toys. - It's working! Chase barked joyfully. Logan and the dogs quickly gathered the toys. - Let's return these to the kids, Logan said happily.
