Alessia, a fun-loving two-year-old, loves going on adventures but struggles with staying in her car seat. " - We can't go unless you're safe, Alessia," her mom explained. Alessia felt stuck and couldn't go to the park. " - I just want to have fun," she pouted.
Another day, on their way to Nonna's house, Alessia saw a squirrel out the window. " - Look! A squirrel!" she shouted, trying to stand up. But the seatbelt held her snugly. " - Sit down, my dear," her dad said. " - It's for your safety." Alessia sighed, feeling like she was missing out on everything outside. " - I can't see anything from here," she mumbled.
Frustrated, Alessia thought about giving up on car rides. " - Maybe I don't need to go anywhere," she said sadly. She sat quietly in her car seat, arms crossed. Her mom noticed and asked, " - What's wrong, Alessia?" Alessia whispered, " - I don't like sitting here." It seemed too hard to be still, and she missed her adventures.
One day, Nonna had an idea. " - Let's play a game," she suggested. Alessia's eyes lit up, " - A game?" Nonna smiled, " - Yes, we can see who spots more red cars!" Alessia giggled, " - I like games!" Suddenly, the car seat didn't seem so bad. She realized playing games made the ride fun and safe.
