Bat tried to think of new places to search. She climbed up to the tower, but it was too high and scary. She looked in the library, but there were too many books! Bat felt tired. - Maybe I should stop looking, she said to herself.
Bat sat down and felt like giving up. She thought she would never find Rat. - I can't do it, she whimpered. But then, she remembered something. Bat remembered how brave she felt when she chased Rat.
Bat realized she needed to be brave and keep trying. She remembered that Rat loved cheese. - I'll look for cheese crumbs, Bat decided with a smile. Bat followed the crumbs and found a secret door!
Bat opened the secret door and there was Rat, nibbling on cheese. - I found you, Rat! Bat giggled. Rat looked surprised but happy. Bat felt proud of her courage and shared cheese with Rat. They became great friends.
