Gauri was excited for her sixth birthday. Her grandmother told her about a lost family heirloom, a beautiful jeweled bracelet hidden somewhere in their house. Gauri loved solving mysteries, and she wanted to find it before her birthday party. She knew it would make her family very happy. But the house was big, and it wouldn't be easy to find.
Gauri started her search in the attic, where old and dusty boxes were stacked high. She opened the first box and found only old books and clothes. She moved to the next one, but there was nothing but old toys. Gauri felt a bit discouraged. She wondered if the bracelet was even there.
Gauri decided to check the basement next. It was dark and a little scary. She heard strange noises and her heart began to race. She found an old chest but couldn't open it. She tried hard but it wouldn't budge. Tears welled up in her eyes.
After many failed attempts, Gauri sat down feeling defeated. She thought about giving up. She didn’t know where else to look. She felt sad and frustrated. 'Maybe the bracelet is lost forever,' she thought.
Just then, Gauri’s older brother, Arjun, came into the basement. He saw her sad face and asked what was wrong. - I can't find the bracelet, Gauri said. - Let’s think about it together, Arjun replied. He suggested they look in their grandmother’s old room. Gauri felt a surge of hope.
Gauri and Mirra went to their grandmother’s old room. They searched everywhere but couldn’t find anything. Suddenly, Gauri had an idea. - What if it’s hidden inside the old clock? she wondered. They opened the clock and found the bracelet! Gauri’s face lit up with joy. She had done it!
