In Oahu, Hawaii, a curious young boy named John embarks on a summer adventure at the beach. But when he discovers a stranded turtle, John's determination to save it leads him through a series of obstacles. Will he succeed in his charitable mission?
John loved summers at the beach. One sunny day, he found a turtle stuck in the sand. The turtle looked sad and tired. John knew he had to help. But how?
John tried to lift the turtle, but it was too heavy. He looked around for help. The waves were getting closer. John felt scared. He didn't want the turtle to get hurt.
John saw a bucket nearby. He thought it might help. He ran to get it but tripped on a rock. Sand got in his eyes. John cried, feeling defeated.
John sat down, feeling tired. He wondered if he should give up. The turtle looked at him with big, hopeful eyes. John didn't know what to do.
Just then, an old man appeared. - Why are you sad, little one? he asked. - I want to help the turtle but I can't, John replied. - Let's work together, the old man said. They started digging around the turtle.
With the old man's help, they freed the turtle. - Thank you! John said happily. The turtle slowly crawled back to the sea. John felt proud and happy. He knew helping others was important.
