Billy Beaver loved building things in the playroom. One day, he decided to build a big bridge out of blocks. But the blocks were too wobbly. Billy needed to figure out how to make the bridge strong. - Why won't it stay up? Billy wondered.
Billy tried stacking the blocks differently, but they kept falling. - Oh no, not again! Billy sighed as the bridge collapsed once more. His friend, Sally Squirrel, watched him struggle. - Maybe try using the bigger blocks, Sally suggested.
Billy switched to bigger blocks, but they were too heavy to carry. He even tried asking for help, but everyone was busy. - What if I never build my bridge? Billy worried. His arms were getting tired, and he felt sad.
Billy sat down and almost gave up. - I guess I can't do it, he said quietly. Just then, his teacher walked by and noticed his frown. - What's wrong, Billy? she asked. - I can't build my bridge, Billy replied, feeling hopeless.
The teacher smiled and gave him an idea. - Why not build a base first? she suggested. Billy's eyes lit up with excitement. - A base? I'll try that! he exclaimed. He quickly started building a strong base for his bridge.
With the base in place, Billy's bridge began to take shape. - I did it! Billy cheered as the bridge stood tall. Sally clapped and cheered too. - You did it, Billy! she said. Billy beamed with pride, learning that wisdom and patience make great builders.
