Let's visit the clinic so we can see what's going on inside your tummy.
Brave Bear felt a little nervous about the clinic. - Will it hurt? he asked quietly. - Nope! said Nurse Bunny. - We have a special machine called a CT scanner. It takes pictures of the inside of your body, just like a camera. It doesn’t hurt at all. You just have to lie still, and the machine does all the work.
When Brave Bear got to the clinic, friendly helpers in colorful clothes smiled and waved. - Hi, Brave Bear! they said. - You're so brave for coming today! They gave him a soft blanket and helped him lie down on a comfy bed. The CT machine looked like a big donut. - This is the Big Picture Machine, said Nurse Bunny. - It makes cool whirring sounds, but that's just the machine working.
As the bed moved slowly through the donut, Brave Bear stayed still like a statue. The machine made funny whirring sounds that tickled his ears. But suddenly, Brave Bear felt a little scared. - What if something goes wrong? he thought. He almost wanted to jump off the bed and run away. - You're doing amazing! the helpers cheered. - Just a little bit longer!
