Bullying My Friend

Wisdom Watercolor style

In London, a brave 10-year-old boy named Moon stands by his friend who is being bullied. Despite numerous obstacles and moments of doubt, Moon's honesty, love, courage, and strength guide him towards a wise solution to the problem.

Moon lived in London with his parents. He had a best friend named Leo, who was often bullied at school. Moon couldn't understand why the other kids were so mean to Leo. One day, he saw Leo crying after school. Moon decided he couldn't let this continue.

- Why do they keep picking on you, Leo? Moon asked. - I don't know, Moon. They just do, Leo replied sadly. Moon knew he had to do something. He promised Leo that he would stand by him no matter what. But he didn't know how to stop the bullying.

The next day, Moon saw the bullies teasing Leo again. He wanted to step in, but they were bigger and stronger. Moon felt scared but didn't show it. He walked up to the bullies and tried to talk to them. They just laughed at him.

- Leave him alone! Moon shouted. - Or what? You'll stop us? one of the bullies mocked. Moon's heart pounded in his chest. He didn't know what to do next. The bullies pushed him aside and continued teasing Leo.

Moon tried to get help from a teacher. But the teacher was busy and didn't see the urgency. Moon felt helpless. He couldn't believe that no one was willing to help. This made him even more determined.

- We need to find another way, Moon said to Leo. - But how? Leo asked. Moon thought hard. They decided to try avoiding the bullies by taking different routes home. It worked for a while, but the bullies soon found them.

The bullies seemed to be everywhere. Moon and Leo couldn't escape them. They tried hiding in the library during recess. But the bullies barged in and started causing trouble. Moon felt like he was running out of options.

Moon decided to talk to his parents about the problem. They listened carefully and offered advice. - Sometimes, you need to stand up for what's right, even if it's hard, his dad said. - But be smart about it, added his mom. Moon felt a little better but still didn't know what to do.

The next day, Moon tried to gather other kids to stand up to the bullies. But most of them were too scared. - I can't do this alone, Moon thought. He felt like giving up. - Maybe I'm not strong enough, he said to himself.

- Don't give up, Leo said. - You're the bravest person I know. Moon felt a spark of hope. He realized that giving up wasn't an option. He had to find another way to solve the problem.

Moon felt defeated. He had tried everything he could think of. He wanted to protect Leo, but nothing seemed to work. - Maybe the bullies are right. Maybe we can't stop them, Moon said. Leo looked at him with sad eyes.

That evening, Moon's grandfather visited. - What's troubling you, Moon? he asked. Moon explained the situation. - Sometimes, wisdom is more powerful than strength, his grandfather said. - Think about what the bullies really want.

Moon thought hard about his grandfather's words. He realized that the bullies wanted attention and power. - What if we take that away from them? Moon wondered. He discussed the idea with Leo. They decided to ignore the bullies completely.

The next day, when the bullies started teasing, Moon and Leo didn't react. Instead, they walked away calmly. The bullies were confused. - Why aren't they scared? one of them asked. Moon and Leo kept ignoring them.

Over time, the bullies lost interest. They didn't get the reaction they wanted. Moon and Leo felt a sense of relief. - It worked! Leo said with a big smile. - We did it together, Moon replied, feeling proud.

Moon and Leo learned that wisdom and courage could overcome bullying. They also realized the importance of standing up for each other. - I'm glad you're my friend, Leo said. - Me too, Moon replied. They walked home together, knowing they had made a difference.
