Next, they visited the local museum. Charlotte saw a beautiful leaf on the ground. But just as she reached for it, the wind blew it away. ' - Oh no, the leaf!' Charlotte cried. Mum held her hand. ' - Don't worry, sweetie. We'll find something else.'
At the bakery, Charlotte saw colorful sprinkles on a cookie. She thought it would be a perfect keepsake. But the baker said, ' - Sorry, sweetie, we can't take sprinkles from the cookies.' Charlotte felt like giving up. ' - Mum, I can't find anything!' she said, frustrated.
Mum kneeled down to Charlotte's level. ' - Charlotte, remember, it’s not about what you find but the thought behind it.' Mum pointed to a nearby tree. ' - Look, that tree has some beautiful leaves that won’t blow away.' Charlotte's eyes lit up. ' - Let's try!' she exclaimed.
Charlotte carefully picked a leaf and handed it to Mum. ' - Dad and the boys will love this!' she said proudly. They continued to explore, finding small treasures like acorns and pebbles. ' - I did it, Mum!' Charlotte said with a big smile. ' - You did, Charlotte. You really did,' Mum replied.
