Chimpy loved visiting the farm, especially to see the silly chickens. But one day, he noticed something strange. "Why don't the chickens ever say hello?" he asked. The chickens clucked and flapped, but never a hello. Chimpy felt sad. He wanted to crack this mystery.
Chimpy decided to ask the frogs for help. " - Hey, frogs," he called, "do you know why the chickens never say hello?" But the frogs only croaked and leaped into the air, ignoring him. Chimpy scratched his head. "This is harder than I thought," he sighed.
Chimpy tried to ask the cows next. " - Moo, do you know about the chickens?" he asked. But the cows just chewed their cud and shook their heads. He felt even more confused. "How will I ever solve this mystery?" he wondered.
Chimpy sat down, feeling defeated. He thought maybe he should give up. " - Maybe the chickens just don't want to say hello," he muttered sadly. But his heart felt heavy. He couldn't leave it like this.
Just then, a wise old owl flew down. " - Hoo, hoo, I know why," the owl said with a wink. " - The chickens are shy and need a friend like you to help them." Chimpy's eyes lit up. " - I can be their friend!" he exclaimed. He had found the courage to try again.
Chimpy gathered all the chickens and said, " - Don't be shy, friends! Let's practice saying hello together!" Slowly, the chickens clucked, "Hello!" Chimpy laughed with joy. " - We did it!" he cheered. The farm was filled with happy hellos, and Chimpy felt proud.
