Door & Door

Wisdom Digital art style

A young girl named Door embarks on a fascinating journey through various types of doors around her home and town, learning valuable lessons about wisdom and the importance of doors in our lives.

Door loved exploring her house, but today she discovered something strange. Every single door in her house was stuck! No matter how hard she tried, they wouldn’t budge. Her parents were away, so she was all alone. She needed to find a way to open the doors, or else she couldn’t use the bathroom, go to the kitchen, or even leave the house. Door felt this was the biggest problem she had ever faced.

Door decided to start with the front door. She pushed, pulled, and even tried using a broomstick to pry it open. But nothing worked. She sat down, feeling tired and defeated. She knew she had to keep trying. She moved on to the kitchen door, hoping it would be easier.

The kitchen door was just as stubborn. Door looked around and found a small toolbox. She used a screwdriver to try and loosen the hinges, but it only made things worse. She accidentally stripped the screws, making the door even harder to open. She felt tears welling up in her eyes. She thought about giving up, but then she remembered how important it was to solve this problem.

Exhausted and disheartened, Door sat on the floor. She felt like she had tried everything and nothing worked. She considered waiting for her parents to come back, but that could take hours. She whispered to herself, 'Why can't I figure this out?' She felt like she was out of options.

Just then, her neighbor, Mr. Wise, knocked on the window. ' - What's wrong, Door?' he asked. Door explained her predicament. ' - Have you tried thinking about why the doors are stuck?' Mr. Wise asked. Door thought hard and realized that the humidity from the recent rain might have swollen the doors. She found a small candle and rubbed the wax along the edges of the door. Slowly, it began to open.

With the front door now open, Door moved quickly to the other doors in the house, using the same trick. One by one, they all opened with ease. She felt a wave of relief and accomplishment. ' - Thank you, Mr. Wise,' she said. ' - Remember, wisdom is not just about knowing things but understanding them,' he replied. Door knew she had learned a valuable lesson that day.
