Ella’s Big Adventure

Courage

Ella, a brave 7-year-old girl from New York, faces her biggest challenge when her beloved dog, Max, goes missing. She embarks on a thrilling adventure across the city, facing numerous obstacles and doubts, but learns the true meaning of courage along the way.

Ella was playing in Central Park with her dog, Max. Suddenly, Max ran off chasing a squirrel and disappeared into the busy city of New York. Ella’s heart sank. She knew she had to find Max, but New York was so big! She stood there, determined but scared.

Ella started her search by asking people in the park. Most of them were too busy to help. She felt a lump in her throat. Just then, an old man feeding pigeons approached her. - Did you lose something, little one? he asked. - My dog, Max. Have you seen him? Ella replied.

The old man pointed towards a nearby street. Ella ran there but found nothing. She continued searching, but the noisy traffic and tall buildings made it hard to concentrate. She felt lost. - Maybe Max went to the pet store, she thought. But when she got there, Max was nowhere to be found.

After hours of searching, Ella sat on a bench, tears in her eyes. - I’ll never find Max, she whispered. A street musician noticed her sadness. - Don’t give up, kiddo. Sometimes, you just need to look from a different angle, he said with a smile.

Ella wiped her tears and stood up. She climbed to the top of a nearby building to get a better view of the city. She scanned the streets below and spotted a familiar brown tail wagging near a hotdog stand. - Max! she shouted in joy. Without wasting a second, she hurried down.

Ella ran as fast as she could and finally reached Max. He was happily munching on a piece of hotdog. - Max, I found you! she cried, hugging him tightly. Her heart filled with relief and happiness. - Let’s go home, buddy. Today, I learned that with courage, we can overcome anything.
