Evyn was a girl with dreams so grand, she wanted to explore every inch of the land. In Anytown, where she lived with her folks, her mismatched clothes were the subject of jokes. One day, she found an old map in the attic, marking places unknown, making her ecstatic.

- 'Stay calm,' she whispered, her voice shaking. 'I must be brave, there's no room for quaking.' She found a stick and waved it high. The animal backed down, much to her surprise.
Evyn crossed the woods, feeling strong and proud. But soon she faced a river, roaring loud. There was no bridge, just water so wild. She felt her courage wane, like a frightened child.
- 'How will I cross?' she wondered aloud. 'I can't give up now, I must make my parents proud.' She found some logs and tied them tight, creating a raft that just might be right.
The raft held strong as she paddled across, but the current was fierce, making her feel lost. She nearly fell in but held on tight, reaching the shore with all her might.
On the other side, a mountain stood tall. 'This is the hardest challenge of all.' She began to climb, each step a test. Her legs grew weary, but she gave it her best.
- 'I can't do this,' she cried out loud. 'I'm too tired, I can't make my parents proud.' She sat on a rock, tears in her eyes. 'Is this the end? Have I reached my demise?'
As she sat there, a figure appeared. An old woman with a cane, looking kind and revered. 'Why the tears, young one?' she gently asked. 'I can't go on,' Evyn said, feeling masked.
- 'Courage isn't about never feeling fear. It's about moving forward, year after year,' the old woman said with wisdom in her eyes. 'You have the strength; just look to the skies.'
Evyn stood up, feeling renewed. 'Thank you,' she said, 'for changing my mood.' She climbed the mountain with all her might, reaching the top as day turned to night.
