In the heart of South Africa, young Tshia and his brother BK embark on a journey of faith and courage. Faced with a challenge to share their beliefs with friends who doubt them, they learn the importance of prayer and trusting in God's guidance. Tshia and his younger brother BK loved to play under the wide African sky. They often talked about their dreams and shared stories about Jesus. One day, Tshia faced a difficult challenge. His friends at school didn’t understand why he believed so much in Jesus. This made Tshia feel sad and uncertain.
BK looked at Tshia with concern. - Why are you so quiet today? BK asked. - I want to tell my friends about Jesus, but they just laugh at me, Tshia replied. BK thought for a moment. - We can pray together, maybe that will help, he suggested. Heavenly Father please guide us as we embark in this journey of Evangelism in the name of Jesus Amen.
The next day, Tshia tried again to talk to his friends. But as soon as he mentioned Jesus, they started teasing him. Tshia felt his courage slipping away. - Why won’t they listen? he wondered aloud to BK. BK held his hand and said, - Maybe we should try a different way.
Tshia decided to show his friends how prayer worked. He invited them to join him and BK in a small prayer circle. But the friends just giggled and refused. Tshia felt his heart sink. He didn't understand why they wouldn't even try. - Don’t give up, BK encouraged him.
Feeling defeated, Tshia sat quietly under a big baobab tree. He thought maybe he should stop trying. - Maybe they’re right, Tshia said to BK. - It’s so hard to keep believing when no one else does. BK shook his head. - But you do believe, and that’s what matters.
Just then, an elderly man walked by and sat next to them. - I’ve seen how hard you try, he said kindly. - Sometimes, we need to pray for strength, not just for answers. Tshia listened closely. - How do I find that strength? he asked. - It’s already in you, the man smiled.
Tshia felt a warmth in his heart. - I feel it, he told BK. - I feel like I can do this. BK grinned. - Let’s pray together, Tshia suggested. They bowed their heads and prayed for courage and understanding and God granted them.
With renewed courage, Tshia approached his friends once more. - I want to share something important with you, he said confidently. His friends listened this time, curious about his change in attitude. Tshia spoke from his heart about faith and prayer. His words flowed naturally.
To his surprise, one friend raised his hand. - Can you teach us how to pray? he asked. Tshia beamed. - Of course, he replied eagerly. BK joined in, excited to help. Together, they showed their friends how to connect with God through prayer.
