It's Potty Time
Ursula, a 3-year-old girl, is learning to use the potty. Despite initial reluctance, encouragement from her support worker, Jessica, helps Ursula overcome her fear of using the potty. Along the way, Ursula learns the importance of sharing and helping others.
Ursula was a happy little girl who loved playing with her toys. But there was one thing she wasn't sure about: using the potty. " - I don't want to use the potty yet," Ursula said to her teddy bear. She was worried it might be scary. Her support worker, Jessica, told her that using the potty was important. " - You can do it, Ursula," Jessica encouraged.
Ursula decided to try, but the potty looked too big and strange. " - Maybe later," she whispered to herself. Jessica smiled and offered to help. " - I'll be right here with you," Jessica promised. But Ursula shook her head and ran back to her toys. She still wasn't ready.
After lunch, Ursula had an accident. She felt embarrassed and didn't know what to do. " - Oh no," Ursula sighed, looking down at her wet pants. Jessica came to help right away. " - It's okay, Ursula," Jessica reassured her with a hug. Ursula wanted to try the potty again, but she was still nervous.
Ursula felt like giving up. " - I'll never get it right," she told Jessica sadly. " - You can do it," Jessica encouraged her once more. But Ursula wasn't sure. She wanted to be a big girl, but using the potty seemed too hard. She sat quietly, thinking about what to do next.
Jessica had an idea. " - What if we have a special treat for after the potty?" she suggested. Ursula's eyes lit up. " - Like gumdrops?" she asked. " - Yes, gumdrops!" Jessica laughed. Ursula felt excited and decided to try again.
This time, Ursula sat on the potty with Jessica by her side. " - I did it!" Ursula cheered when she was done. Jessica clapped her hands. " - Ooooooooooooh!" she exclaimed, giving Ursula lots of gumdrops. Ursula felt proud and happy. She learned that trying new things could be fun.
