Jasmeh & Her Friends

Courage Pixar style

Jasmeh, a shy and kind-hearted 10-year-old, faces a challenge at school when she and her friends are tasked with creating a project for the upcoming science fair. Struggling to find her voice and overcome her shyness, Jasmeh encounters various obstacles that test her courage and determination. With the support of her friends and a surprising mentor, Jasmeh learns to stand up for herself and lead her team to success.

Jasmeh was thrilled when her teacher announced the science fair at school. However, the excitement quickly turned to worry when she was chosen as the leader of her group. Leading her friends was a daunting task for Jasmeh, who was shy and preferred to stay in the background. She knew she had to be courageous, but the thought of speaking up made her feel small. What if she couldn't guide her friends to success?

Jasmeh's first challenge came when her friends started discussing ideas for their project. Everyone spoke over each other, and Jasmeh couldn't get a word in. She felt invisible and worried that they wouldn't settle on a good idea. Jasmeh wanted to suggest a project on renewable energy, but her voice was lost in the chatter. How could she make them listen?

Jasmeh decided to try writing her idea down and passing it to her friends. But when she handed the note to her friend Sara, it accidentally fell into a puddle of paint. Jasmeh felt her courage slipping away with the soggy paper. - "Oh no, what do we do now?" Sara asked, holding up the ruined note. Jasmeh's heart sank as she wondered if she should just give up on her idea.

The next obstacle appeared when the group finally settled on a different idea. Jasmeh tried to speak up but found herself tongue-tied. - "Jasmeh, do you think this will work?" asked her friend Alex. Jasmeh nodded, afraid that her voice would betray her nerves. But inside, she knew the idea wasn't feasible and felt the weight of responsibility grow heavier.

Jasmeh's confidence took another hit when her friends started arguing about the project. She felt responsible for the disarray and didn't know how to steer them back on track. - "We can't agree on anything," Alex complained. Jasmeh felt her cheeks grow warm with embarrassment. Was she really the right person to lead this group?

Feeling overwhelmed, Jasmeh decided it was time to give up. Her friends seemed capable of handling things without her input. - "Maybe I should just step back," Jasmeh thought aloud. But just as she was about to quit, she noticed a poster on the wall about teamwork and courage. Could she find the strength to try one more time?

Suddenly, their science teacher, Mr. Patel, noticed Jasmeh's struggle and offered some advice. - "Jasmeh, sometimes the quietest voices have the most powerful ideas," he said kindly. Mr. Patel suggested they try a voting system to decide on the project. Jasmeh felt a spark of hope. Maybe she could lead her friends after all.

With renewed courage, Jasmeh gathered her friends and explained the voting system. Her friends listened, and Jasmeh felt a new sense of confidence. They decided to vote on the projects, and to her delight, her idea about renewable energy won! Jasmeh felt proud and ready to take on the challenge.

Together, the group worked hard on their renewable energy project. Jasmeh led the team with enthusiasm, and her friends supported her every step of the way. - "We did it, Jasmeh!" Sara exclaimed, beaming with pride. Jasmeh couldn't believe how far they had come. She realized that courage was about believing in herself and her ideas.

On the day of the science fair, Jasmeh and her friends presented their project with confidence. The judges were impressed, and the group won first prize! Jasmeh felt a warm glow of pride as her friends cheered. She had learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. Together, they celebrated their success, and Jasmeh knew she could face any challenge with her friends by her side.
