It was a sunny day in Jakarta, and four-year-old Kaira was playing with her cat, Meow. Suddenly, Meow started coughing. Kaira got worried. She ran to her mom and said, - Mom, Meow is sick! Kaira wanted to help her cat, but she didn't know how.
Kaira decided to visit her neighbor, Mr. Arif, who had a dog named Bobo. When she arrived, Bobo was also coughing. - Mr. Arif, Bobo is sick too! Kaira exclaimed. Mr. Arif nodded and said, - It's strange. Several pets in the neighborhood are ill. Kaira felt even more worried.
Kaira decided to investigate. She visited another neighbor, Auntie Sari, who had a bird named Chirpy. Chirpy was sneezing. - Oh no, not Chirpy too! Kaira said. Auntie Sari sighed, - We don't know what's causing this. Kaira's curiosity grew, but so did her frustration.
Kaira felt like giving up. - I can't help any of the pets, she said sadly. She sat on the steps of her house, tears rolling down her cheeks. Her mom came and hugged her. - It's okay, Kaira. We'll find a way. But Kaira didn't feel hopeful.
Just then, an old man with a kind smile walked by. - I heard about the sick pets, he said. - I am Dr. Hasan, a veterinarian. Kaira's eyes lit up. - Can you help us? she asked. Dr. Hasan nodded and said, - Let's figure this out together.
Dr. Hasan examined Meow, Bobo, and Chirpy. - They all ate something bad, he explained. Together, they cleaned the pets' areas and gave them medicine. Soon, all the pets started to feel better. - Thank you, Dr. Hasan! Kaira exclaimed. She felt happy and proud.
